Sneak Peek for Anfisa

This was almost the shoot that never was. After multiple scheduling conflicts and a couple of miscommunications we finally got it together!

Coordinating 5 children - 10yr old TRIPLETS, a 9year old boy and a 4 year old little girl all the way from overseas is not easy but leave to Anfisa to make it happen! We even shopped and chose wardrobe together - I in Aventura, FL and she in London, England thanks to our trustee blackberries!

I am so glad it all came together though because it was even better than I had imagined it would be...just perfect.

Little Princess Rachel Noa's 1st Birthday!!

It was not long ago that I was photographing her older sister's first birthday! It was fun to see all the same adult faces yet with all different babies in their arms!
Lisa - you definitely know how to throw a party. Not a detail was missed and the love was palpable. Happy Birthday Rachel!

I have to admit, when first arriving at the beach for this session I was a bit nervous that the location would just not work out well. There must have been at least 300 people enjoying the ocean's glory that afternoon but we managed to find one nice little patch of open shade thanks to a random trailer parked on the sand and made the most of it! We even ventured down to the water for a few shots! At the end of the day, I am really happy to have captured some beautiful moments for this gorgeous family.

I am thrilled that I had enough energy to photograph my own newborn baby just 7 days after delivering her. It was not easy but I managed to get some shots of her that I know I will treasure forever. Newborns only stay so little for so long and capturing them that way is absolutely beautiful.

3 brothers and a princess! I had such a wonderful time working with these children. Each one was so unique in their own way with so much personality that you can clearly see in each shot. There is nothing like photographing a newborn baby. The purity is magical. The work is tedious but the end result is breathtaking. This baby was an angel. She was a dream to work with. When she gets older, I must remember to thank her!

Where does the time go? Feels like yesterday I got the email that he was born and that HE was a HE after 3 gorgeous girls! I was in Canada at the time...but made it back in time for his bris. Now he's 3. Amazing. I am so glad to have had the pleasure of spending that day with his family and to watch his transition from a baby boy to a little man. My most recent session...what a pleasure to photograph such beauty! I had such a great time with this family. Andrei reminds me so much of my little brother. So sweet and caring. And Alesya was absolutely adorable. What a spitfire! I had such fun playing and interacting with her and creating our own games in her backyard. Oh, and her favorite flavor of ice cream is "vuh-nillah". Love that little one!

My brother's 8th birthday party

There was this beautiful little girl at my brother's birthday party today. She literally took my breath away but I couldn't chase her around with my camera. I wasn't hired to photograph her but I just had to get a shot of her. Isn't she gorgeous?

My first Newborn Session

What a task this was! I had tried photographing a newborn once before but failed miserably! I was totally unprepared. This time I did a lot more research and prepared myself that much better. I am thrilled with the experience and knowledge I gained in working with an itty bitty 10 day old. While she was close to the 10lb mark she still curled up pretty nicely for me. And check out that full head of hair! Stunning...

While I try to stick to what I know and love best - natural light candid lifestyle photography - occasionally I give in and shoot a small event here and there. Especially when asked by my favorite client (wink wink). This bridal shower was so much fun. The bride did not stop smiling, the games were so fun that at one point I found myself participating and forgot I was there to capture the moments! What a beautiful family! I really enjoyed this session. We had a great time. Eddie (the dad) was so compliant and willing to do whatever I asked. He didn't complain ONCE! And little David was just all smiles, all the time. What great baby!

I was given my first camera at 7 years old. I have been fascinated with creating images ever since. Wherever life took me, there I was, camera in hand, capturing the moments.

As I had two small children of my own, I discovered how rewarding it is to photograph children and families. I love to capture the interaction that makes a family unique and beautiful. Photography is not a job for me. It is my passion. I want to create portraits that will put a smile on your face every time you see them.

I am an on-location natural light photographer. My style and approach to photography is documentary in nature. My sessions are relaxed and candid with no posing or forced smiles. I seek to capture real life as you know it.
